Volunteers will come together to turn simple ingredients into life-saving meals. Each person plays an important role in this team effort by scooping ingredients, weighing meal bags, sealing, and boxing. With every task on the packaging line, you’re not just packaging food, you’re providing hope and nourishment to children and families facing hunger.
Mobile Meal Packaging Events are also available to host at your worksite. Contact Meals from the Heartland at 515-473-9530 to set up a mobile event.
Food costs have risen considerably in recent times. To help offset ingredient costs associated with the number of volunteers packaging during the Des Moines Corporate Games, additional monetary donations are encouraged.
